Bikram Rana appoints Special Incident Commander for Bapu Dham Colony
Bapu Dham Colony has become hot bed of COVID 19 and has been making headlines in the newspapers. When number of COVID 19 crossed 110 in Bapudham Colony of Chandigarh, the Chandigarh Administration panicked and it has decided to kick off its pandemic management strategy from May. An action plan was put in place. The Administration has decided to appoint an incident commander for the area.
Bikram Rana, SLO, NSS Cell, Chandigarh has been assigned the duty of Special Incident Commander to monitor the situation along with civil defence personnel in the colony. Notably, the colony has reported 110 COVID 19 cases from 29 houses and need of the hour is to break in pandemic chain. He is empowered to take each precautionary measures to eradicate the pandemic from Red Zone and ensure essential medical services and movement of essential supplies.

Along with civil defence personnel and police he is on the job and putting some hard measures to eradicate spread of pandemic any more. His past experience in meeting out disasters starts paying dividend as Bapu Dham Colony did not report any case on Thursday while it has been reporting COVID 19 cases on daily basis.
