Awards announcement marks 2nd of day of All-India Poetess Conference

The 2nd of 3-day 17th All-India Poetess Conference at Punjab Arts Council,Chandigarh today marked the announcement of awards to poetesses.

The 15 AIPC special awards were announced to GS Saroja from Shimoga, LalitaBelvadi from Bangalore, Ishrat Jahan Zaib from Bijapur, Dr. Supriya P. from Kasargod, Aradhana Srivastava from Agra, Puja Gupta from Nepal, Dr. HenaHaridasan from Kannur, PomilaChetia from fromGolaghar, SarojiniBhadrapur from Pune, SurinderKawal from Amritsar, MitaliCharkrawarty from Jorhat, Satinder Kahlon from Batala, Dr. Deepa Mathew from Kannur, DrRadhamani C from Ernakulamand  SimratGagan from Amritsar.

NavratnNariyan the life time achievement awards were announced to Satinder Kaur Pannu for exemplary contribution in social service, Jaspreet Chinna from Gurdaspur for exemplary contrition in education field and Dr Roshan Jacub from Buladnshahr for administrative service.

SimratSumera, conference convenorsaid that these all awards will be given  to winnerstomorrow along with 7 crown awards including; Miss AIPC India 2017, Beauty with Brain 2017, Miss Trip Hat Trick 2017, Miss AIPC Teen 2017, Miss Popular 2017, Miss Chandigarh 2017 and Miss Punjab 2017

Meanwhile today the first session was held on BahuBhaasiKavyaPaath. It was attended by Prabha Sharma from Delhi, SunitaKhokha from Noida, SunitaShrutishree from Delhi and AnuTamoli and Pooja Changra from Tonk in Rajasthan.

The second session was held on Punjabi KavyaPaath which was attended by Ranjita Falak from Dehradun,Pooja Gupta,Radha Mandal, Vimla Devi from Nepal, Suman Sharma from Gujarat, Dr Nalini from Himachal and Megna Sharma from Bikaner.

Speaking during occasion,  Dr. Lari Azad , founder-AIPCsaid that we are the only non-government body which awards 60 poetesses of every known and less known languages of Indian comprising an amount of Rs. 150000/-.
