System developed

To reduce any inadvertent errors, a comprehensive system has been developed.

The board won’t declare subject-wise merit list nor issue merit certificates to students. The CBSE will only issue a combined marks sheet-cum-certificate instead of a separate marks sheet and a passing certificate. The compartment exams will be held between August 16 and September 15. The schedule would be announced soon. According to the policy, the theory paper evaluation formula was 30 per cent weightage to Class 10 marks, 30 per cent to Class 11 marks and 40 per cent weightage to marks obtained in Class 12 unit test, mid-term, pre-board exams.

“To facilitate schools and help them in compilation and moderation of results and reduce any inadvertent errors, a comprehensive system was developed by the board’s IT team,” said CBSE Examinations Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj.
