Ashmah International School celebrated Van Mahotsav in association with Loins Club Chandigarh
Ashmah International School Sector – 70, in association with Loins Club Chandigarh celebrated Van Mahotsav by planting different type of trees and plant in & around the school campus. The school children whole heartily took part in the event and pledged to look after the trees planted by them. They also promised to plant tree in the city wherever it is feasible to get appropriate piece of land for plantation.
Lion Parmeet Kaur Batra ,Chairman (Envirornment Committee),lion Dheeraj Kumar Secy, Lion Gurcharan Singh, lion S,l.Seth,lion Harcharan Singh, lion R. k. Bishamboo, MJF lion V. k. Puniani, MJF lion S. K. Rana, Lion Gurmel Singh, lion Harjot Singh Dhillon, Lion Dr. R. K. Gupta, Lion Sukhdev singh Sidhu alongwith Director J.S.kesar, Ravinder kakkar and Bhagwan Dass Ghavri were present.

Lion Parmeet Kaur Batra , Chairman (Environment Committee) appreciated the efforts of the school for its contribution for the creation of a sustainable environment. Director Ashmah International School J.S. Kesar said at the moment that the main aim of celebrating Van Mahotsav was to make the Citizens aware about the hazards of pollution and the need for planting more trees so as to save our earth. He further also discouraged the usage of paper bags and make city plastic free.
