Arun Sood Dushyant Kumar Gautam, has reconstituted the organization in view of corporation elections 2021
State President of Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh , Arun Sood, with the consent of in-charge and national general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam, has reconstituted the organization in view of the corporation elections 2021 and appointed Satinder Singh as the district president of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. According to the new delimitation under this district, ward numbers 1, 2, 3, 13, 14, 15, and 16 are included.
It is noteworthy that the municipal elections to be held in 2021 have increased from 26 to 35 wards.
Earlier, BJP had declared 5 district presidents. But now their area has also changed and the district has also been named now Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Ravinder Pathania will be the president of the district, which includes ward numbers 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30.
The President of Bharat Ratna Atal Nagar will be Rajinder Sharma, which includes wards 23, 24, 31, 32, and 35.
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Nagar district will be headed by Naresh Panchal, which includes ward numbers 19, 20, 21, 22, 33 and 34.
Munish Bhasin Manu will be the president of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar district, which includes ward numbers 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
Jatinder Malhotra will be the President of Rani Laxmi Bai Nagar District, which will include Ward No. 3, 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18.
Satinder Singh, the newly appointed district president of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, belongs to the farmer family. He is currently an active member of the Pendu Development Committee of Sarangpur. Prior to this, Satinder Singh has been discharging the responsibility of Vice President in BJP Kisan Morcha from past.

His father Late Gurnam Singh was also a well-known social worker and he got various development works done while being Sarpanch of the village. He was also the Vice Chairman of Zilla Parishad and also the Director of Co-operative Bank Chandigarh.
