an awareness drive among females to wear helmet was conducted by Chandigarh Traffic Police at GCG-11, UT Chandigarh. During the drive, Sh. Shashank Anand IPS, SSP Traffic & Security appeal the women two wheeler riders to wear good quality ISI Mark Helmet and he presented roses & free coupons to the female two wheeler riders who found wearing helmet provided by the representative of Mann Filling Station, Sector 49-B, Chandigarh (Indian Oil). Inspector Sarwan Singh and Inspector Sukhdeep Singh of Chandigarh Traffic Police were also present during the awareness drive. Pamphlets of ‘Helmet mandatory for women’ were also distributed among the female two-wheeler riders and pillion riders.

Besides this, an awareness drive was also conducted by Chandigarh Traffic Police along with school students of Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Sector-23, Chandigarh at Press L/point, UT Chandigarh. During the drive, Insp. Sita Devi I/C Children Traffic Park appeal the women two wheeler riders to wear good quality ISI Mark Helmet. It is for their own safety. Women two-wheeler riders should not compromise with their safety. Sh. Satish Bhaskar, Social Worker was also present during the awareness drive. Pamphlets of ‘Helmet mandatory for women’ were also distributed among the female two-wheeler riders and pillion riders.
