Amit Shah launches Chandigarh Police ERSS, e-Beat system
Hon’ble Home Minister of India Amit Shah being received by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, Chandigarh MP Kiran Kher, Manoj Parida, Adviser to the Administrator Chandigarh and others at Chandigarh Airport on Friday.
He arrived at 29th meeting of the Northern Zonal Council at Hyatt Regency in Chandigarh on Friday. Amit Shah launched ERSS-112 helpline in the presence of Governor Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh V.P. Singh Badnore, Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, MP Kirron Kher and Manoj Parida, Adviser to the Administrator Chandigarh at Hyatt Regency in Chandigarh on Friday.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on September 20 launched Chandigarh Police’s ‘e-Beat’ system and Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) in Chandigarh.
While addressing the event, he said, “As a former home minister of a state and now union home minister, I have realized that the beat system should be given more importance.
