As a humanitarian gesture, St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School Sector 44 D, Chandigarh took an initiative to lend a helping hand to those affected by Kerala Floods.

“ A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.”

Josephians plunged into the flood relief drive whole heartedly where students and staff generously donated for their homeless and those deprived of basic necessities. A large amount was collected for the noble cause and was sent to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Fund(CMDF).

“ A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.”

A mass prayer along with the formation was conducted by the students asking God to extend his healing touch and bring Kerala back to normalcy.

The Principal Ms. Monica Chawla, expressed her gratitude towards her staff and students for standing together in this hour of need. She further said let us preserve every person from harm, strengthen each one’s bond, console them in trial and help them rebuild their homes.
