Chandigarh Police got success in solving case of robbery in short span with the arrest of two persons namely Parkash R/o # 1013, Kachi colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh and Satish R/o # 1004, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 190, U/S 382, 34 IPC was registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Kuldeep Kumar R/o # 1031-G, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who stated that on 22.07.2018 at about 12:30 PM, when he was going on his Activa Scooter in EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh he was stopped by two persons who came there on a bike and they both slapped him and took away his purse containing Rs 60/- and a silver ring and fled away from spot. Both were in drunken condition.
Later Police party of PS-Sarangpur searched in EWS colony after some time they found two persons present in the same locality in drunken condition. On identification of the complainant both accused namely Parkash R/o # 1013, Kachi colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh age 27 years (POP worker) and Satish R/o # 1004, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh age 19 years (painter) have been arrested in this case. During investigation Silver ring and purse have been recovered from them. No previous involvement in any crime has been found so far. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Besides this, SI Suresh Kumar along with police party of PS-Sarangpur laid a Naka near light point, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 22.07.2018. They stopped a motor cycle with temporary number CH32(T)-9888 on M/Cycle. The driver of motor cycle namely Pappu R/o # 1637, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh could not produced documents. On verification the number plate of said motor cycle was found fake whereas the original no. of Motor cycle is CH01AX8734. Later accused pappu disclosed that motor cycle was stolen from parking sector 22, Chandigarh. In this regard, a case FIR No. 191, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
