Gangster Dilpreet arrested after shootout with cops
CHANDIGARH: Dreaded gangster Dilpreet Singh alias Baba was arrested on Monday morning from Sector 43 ISBT, in a joint operation carried out by Punjab and Chandigarh police.
Police sources said that gangster Dilpreet was injured after he was shot in his leg while trying to flee. Dilpreet received two bullets in his leg and has been admitted to PGIMER, said sources.
A notorious gangster, Dilpreet had recently threatened Punjabi singer Parmish Verma and had fired shots st the singer in Mohali. Later Dilpreet had gone on Facebook to boast about it and took responsibility for carrying out attack on the singer.
The gangster was also wanted by Chandigarh Police for murdering sarpanch Satnaam Singh in April last year.
