In view of the Shiromani Akali Dal rally to be held at “Rally Ground” Sector 25, Chandigarh on 20.3.2018, the general public is hereby advised to avoid the road stretch between Sector 25/38 Light Point on Dakshin Marg and T-point Punjab University road near Chitkara International School on Udyog Path tomorrow i.e. 20.3.2018 from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
Chandigarh Police will facilitate movement of emergency vehicles and hearse vans on the above said stretch. Further, Chandigarh Police will also provide assistance to those vehicles which may have to go to Cremation Ground, Sector 25, Chandigarh.
Road users are therefore, advised to make use of alternative routes during the above said rally on 20.3.2018. General public is requested to cooperate with the police. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
