Sur Sangam, Panchkula, organized the 26th Kishore Kumar Night at Tagore Theatre, captivating audiences with the timeless melodies of the legendary singer Kishore Kumar. Talented singers from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and the Tri-City performed a stunning array of Kishore Kumar’s evergreen songs, enchanting listeners of all ages, from children to senior citizens.
Sur Sangam, Panchkula, organized the 26th Kishore Kumar Night at Tagore Theatre, captivating audiences with the timeless melodies of the legendary singer Kishore Kumar. Talented singers from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and the Tri-City performed a stunning array of Kishore Kumar’s evergreen songs, enchanting listeners of all ages, from children to senior citizens.
The event featured Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj, founder of Sur Sangam and organizer of Kishore Night, Other honored guests included Dr. J. Ganesan, Managing Director of HAFED, R.K. Aneja, President of HMC, Dr. Guntaj Singh Gill, Director of Cardiology at Adarsh Medical College and Hospital, and Dr. Gopal Munjal, Managing Director of Ind-Shift. The program began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by performances of Kishore Kumar’s iconic film songs.
Dr. Pradeep Sharma opened the event with “Pag Ghunghroo Baandh Meera Nachi Thi,” followed by romantic hits like “Aaj Rapat Jayein To” and “Aankhon Mein Kajal Hai.” Dr. Rosie Aneja continued with “Milti Hai Zindagi Mein Mohabbat” and “Karwatein Badalte Rahe Saari Raat Hum,” which got the audience dancing. Other notable performances included songs by Anurag Sharma, SS Prasad, Rajeev Verma, and Kumar Samant, all celebrating the magic of Kishore Kumar’s music.
Before the event concluded, a live singing competition was held, where outstanding performers were awarded by Sur Sangam.
Dr. Pradeep Bhardwaj shared that this was the 26th edition of Kishore Kumar Night, with auditions held in August for about 150 singers, judged by renowned music director Sukhpall Sukh. Thirty singers were selected for the event, aimed at promoting art and culture and providing a platform for talent to shine. This event was also a heartfelt tribute to the beloved singer Kishore Kumar.
