The 3rd edition of Chandigarh Alumni Golf Invitational Tournament , featuring the alumni of leading all- boys boarding schools of the country, will be held at Chandigarh Golf Club on March 9, 2018.
The alumni would contest over 18 holes with the motto ‘together we play’. More than 100 participants are expected to compete in the tournament, which would be played under the Double Peoria scoring format. The alumni of Bishop Cotton School ( Shimla), Mayo College ( Ajmer), Doon School ( Dehradun), Lawrence School ( Sanawar), and Welham Boys School ( Dehradun) will participate in the tournament.
His Excellency, The Governor of Punjab and Chief Administrator of Chandigarh, Shri V.P. Badnore ( Ex Mayo College) and His Highness, Captain Amarinder Singh, Maharaja of Patiala and Chief Minister of Punjab ( Ex Welham and Doon School) would be the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor, respectively.
Sardar Manpreet Singh Badal, Finance Minister, Punjab, ( Ex-Welham and Doon School) will be a Special Invitee for the program.
Many other dignitaries would also grace the occasion.
