Trident Stallions have made it to the final with a bang win in the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup. In the first semi-final match, they defeated Agri King’s Knights by 57 runs. Trident batted first and scored 203/8 in 20 overs, but in response, King’s could only score 146/10 in 19.5 overs. Abhay played a brilliant innings of 92 runs. Last season, the team lost in the semi-finals, but this time Trident took a step forward and secured a place in the final.
In the semi-finals played at IS Bindra Cricket Stadium, Agri King’s Knights won the toss and decided to bowl first. Prabhsimran Singh and Abhay Chaudhary opened the innings for Trident Stallions. They scored runs from both ends and proved the decision of the Knights wrong. Both of them made a great partnership of 117 runs for the first wicket, but captain Prabhsimran Singh returned to the pavilion after scoring 40 runs in 26 balls.
After his departure, Abhay Choudhary did not let the pace of runs slow down and he kept hitting shots continuously. His supporters Salil Arora (11) and Ramandeep Singh (18) could not play a big innings. Abhay missed the century, but he played an innings of 92 runs in 58 balls. The opener hit 12 fours and 2 sixes while batting at a strike rate of 170.37. Sahil Sharma returned unbeaten after scoring 34 runs in 12 balls and took the score of Team Trident to 203/8 runs in 20 overs. Sumit Sharma and Varinder Singh took 3-3 wickets, while Madhav took 2 wickets.
In reply, Trident gave a bad start to Agri King’s Knights and in the very first over Gurwinder Singh dismissed Sahaj Dhawan (0) and captain Abhishek Sharma (0). Varinder Singh scored 49 runs in 34 balls in the middle order, but he could not prevent the team’s defeat. In front of the accurate bowling of Trident, Agri King’s Knights lost all wickets for 146 runs in 19.5 overs. Gurwinder Singh Bhullar took the wickets of 3 batsmen, while Gurnoor Brar, Shubham Rana and Ramandeep Singh took 2-2 wickets each. Aryaman Singh got 1 success.

Adani Group’s billionaire Chairman Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar have been issued summons over US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) allegation about paying $250 million (over ₹2,200 crore) in bribes. A terminal at London’s Gatwick Airport has been evacuated due to a security threat. “Safety and security of our passengers and staff remains our top priority. Congress wins all 3 seats in Karnatka by-polls

Pathan Yasirahmedkhan won from Shiggaonwith margin of 13,448 votes, defeating BJP’s Bharath Bommai, E Annapoorna won from Sandur with margin of 9,649 votes defeating BJP’s Bangara Hanumantha. CP Yogeeshwara won from Channapatna with margin of 25,413 votes defeating HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
