‘No Honking Campaign’ and Road Safety Awareness Program was organised in National Institute of Nursing Education, PGI, where the staff of Children Traffic Park sensitize the nursing students about road safety rules and aware them about the death on road due to accident. More stress was given to girls to wear the helmet. 200 stickers “ Helmet Saves Her Head Too “ were also distributed among the students in the institute. The staff and students were also sensitize about the no honking in the city. Stickers of ‘ No Honking ’ were also pasted on the vehicles in the institute.
Sh. Rajiv Ambasta DSP/Traffic/South, Road Safety, R&D was the chief guest who aware the students about road safety in his address. The student of institute played skit on No Honking. Traffic Marshal Advt. Rajiv Sharma also show video clip on Road Safety to the students. Dr. Sandhya Ghai, Principal, NINE (PGIMER), Dr. Sunita Sharma, Mrs. Meenakashi Agnihotri and Mrs.
Shabana Parveen, NSS Coordinator were presented in workshop. Inspector Sita Devi, CTP staff and Traffic Marshal Mr. R.L.Gupta also share the talks on the Road Safety. 400 nursing students and staff attended the session.
