India Book of Records, the leading chronicle for amazing achievements, witnessed glittering feats this month. A compilation of some of the rarest records is presented below, which can inspire people to do more and better in the coming months. The record for the maximum number of people performing Surya Namaskar with the support of a chair was set by Trinetri Yog Center of Vadodara, where 350 people took part. The record for the maximum number of Super Randonneur titles won in 5 years was set by Dr. Pawan Dhingra (54) of Ludhiana. He won 31 Super Randonneur titles in 142 BRM events amounting to 55,000 km from May 2017 to October 2022. These were organized by Audax India Randonneurs clubs.

The record for the maximum number of mothers and children participating in a walkathon was set by Aarti Awdhesh Maheshwari (51) of Indore. The event called Chalo Mumma Walkathon was held to commemorate Mother’s Day and it saw participation from 300 mother and child pairs who walked for 3 km. The record for the largest pregnant women fashion show contest was set by Kinder Hospitals, Kochi, wherein 100 pregnant women participated, with a view to celebrating motherhood.

The record for India’s first-ever all-woman electric intercity bus was set by GreenCell Mobility Private Limited, Delhi/Mumbai. The NueGo Electric Bus with all-women staff and 28 women passengers started from the Kashmere Gate ISBT Delhi and reached Agra.

The record for the longest non-stop live radio show on sustainability was set by Radio Manav Rachna 107.8 FM at the Manav Rachna Educational Institutions, Faridabad. Five RJs conducted 150 hours, 1 minute and 20 seconds of live program wherein experts from various walks of life participated. The record for menstrual hygiene awareness workshops conducted for the maximum number of adolescent girls was set by Vandana Garg (39) of Kolkata. The workshop was organised at Shyam Garden Salkia Bandhaghat Howrah, wherein 1675 girls took part.

The record for the maximum number of people pledged to support road safety awareness while driving was set by 5K Car Care Pvt Ltd of Coimbatore. The record for maximum fire pits (1111 havan kunds) used to perform Maha Datta Yajna for Lord Dattatreya was set by Jay Shankar Seva Mandal of Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The record for the largest cake baked to commemorate Ambedkar’s birth anniversary was set by Aadhar Berojgar Seva Sahakari Sanstha Ltd, of Mumbai. The cake, weighing 132 kg and measuring 16 feet in length, and 3 feet in width, was displayed at Samaj Mandir Hall, Chembur East.
