Juki MO-6800S over lock Sewing machine-02 nos. Ranew Heavy duty Embroidery machine-02 nos. Juki 8100eb High Speed Lockstitch machine-06 nos.
Singer 9900 H High Speed sewing machine for jute bags-10 nos. DTech Jute Cutting machine-02 nos. Bell Heave Duty Jute Cutting Machine-01 no. Scissors for Jute Cloth Cutting (12 Number Brass finished)-10 nos. and Needle for Singer 9900 H ( 18, 21, 23 number, 10 each)-30 nos. Suresh Shenoy, Trustee and Tervinder Kumar, Trustee for Urpan handed over these machines to. Amandeep Singh, Addl. Supdt. Jail, Parveen Kumar, DSJ on 02.03.2023.
These machines have been received with the efforts of Sh. Deepak Purohit, IPS, Inspector General of Prisons, UT, Chandigarh and Dr. Palika Arora, Addl. IG Prisons, UT, Chandigarh.
By receiving these machines by the Jail department, the Stitching Section of the Jail has become fully equipped with modern machines which will help the inmates for learning the advance stitching skills.
Similarly, grinding machines have also been donated to upgrade the Spice Section and now, we are adding Bajra flour, Ragi flour, Chana flour etc. in our product which will be sold to the General Public at our Nav Srijan Showroom, Sector-22, Chandigarh. A jute bag making section will also be set up in the Jail. These machines are very helpful for the Prison administration.
