Road Saftey Helmet Awarness Drive

Leo Club Chandigarh Fortune under the umbrella of Lions Club Chandigarh Greater organised
5th edition of annual “Road Safety Helmet Awareness Drive” supported by Okinawa motors in association with Chandigarh Traffic Police at Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Chandigarh.
This drive was held with an aim to make Chandigarh an “Accident–Free City”, Hundreds of
youngsters participated and were educated about the importance of wearing proper riding gear, helmet and following traffic rules. Special reflective helmet stickers were also pasted & distributed among riders.
The drive was flagged off by Sh. Anup Gupta, Mayor, Chandigarh in the presence of Sh. Baldev Narang, Lions Club President, and Dr. Punam Agarwal, Principal, Government College of Commerce & Business Administration, and this campaign under Lions International “Youth
Project” was led by Leo Gaurav Bhuttar & Leo Tushar Gupta under the guidance of Leo Ryan
Sharma, President, Leo Club Chandigarh Fortune.
The 12KM drive started from sector 50 covering 49, 43, 35 and 34 where it ended back at the Government College of Commerce & Business Administration, Sector 50, Chandigarh followed by Certificates Distribution.
