Chandigarh Police achieved a major success to work out recent robbery & M.V theft cases by the team led by SI Rohtash, I/C PP 24, under the supervision of SHO 11 and Sh. Ram Gopal, SDPO Central Division with the arrest of vehicle lifter & robbers who were active in tri-city in robbery & Motor Vehicle theft cases.

On 27.12.2017 a Naka was laid down at road Naya Goan to Khuda Ali Sher UT, Chandigarh on secret information and apprehended three persons who were on a motor cycle No. PB 65 X 5020. These three persons were identified as (1) Jaswinder Singh @ Jonny S/O Sh Lt Satpal R/O H No 53, VPO Choti Karora, Distt Mohali Punjab Age 20 Yrs (2) Mukesh @ Nimbu S/O Sh Dhan Singh R/O H No 1620, Dashmesh Nagar, Naya Gaon, Distt Mohali Pb Age 19 Yrs, (3) Ashish Kumar S/O Sh Jai Kishan R/O Near Gurudwara Sahib, VPO Choti Karora, Distt Mohali Punjab Age 19 and found to be involved in robbery case FIR No. 387 dated 21.12.2017 u/s 341,392,34 IPC of PS-11, Chandigarh as indentified by the complainant. Later on robbed mobile phone make Sumsang Galaxy was also recovered on the disclosure of accused Mukesh @ Nimbu.

An another success has been achieved by the officials of Police Station Sector-11, Chandigarh by the recovery of stolen motor cycle CH01AG8030 involved in case FIR No. 61 dated 05.04.2017 U/S 379 IPC added 411 IPC of Police station sector-11, Chandigarh from accused Sukhbir Singh @ Sukhi S/O Kamal Singh R/O # 611, Dasmesh Nagar Naya Gaon Mohali Punjab 27 years, from Naka laid down on the road leading to Khuda Lahora to Naya Goan.

Following FIRs have been worked out with the arrest of following accused persons.
