Guru Manish said that millets are more beneficial than wheat and rice, not only to stay fit but also to avoid many diseases. The millets include cereals like Kangni, Sawan, Kodo, Kutki, Bajra, Ragi, Chana, Jowar and Maize. Millets are rich in calcium, phosphorus, iron, protein and minerals. The kind of wheat that is being consumed today is genetically modified.
