To support Women Empowerment 108 Ambulance creates job opportunity for female EMT staff:Leading Healthcare Service provider and responsible for 108 ambulance services in Punjab, has added another dimension to their services by employing Women EMT staff across Punjab. To support women empowerment and give fair opportunity to women in healthcare services, 108 Ambulance services has started providing employment opportunities to women in all areas of work across the cities and districts of Punjab. Empowering female staff members will directly empower more women .

2 Women EMT staff Mamta and Shivani have already been newly deployed in Pathankot, wherein they will be working in Ambulance and given work equal status as Male EMTs . Both Mamta ( 26 ) and Shivani Devi (21 ) are currently posted at Civil Hospital, Pathankot , where they are given training and how to handle cases related accident and Trauma injury.

Proper Educational Training and guidance realted to critical care and Primary healthcare will be given to female EMT staff members . Equal Pay , opportunities , wages and comfortable working hours and conditions will be offered to the Female EMT staff. Along with that women who are capable and qualified can now apply for the Job as 108 Female EMT staff member . Moreover in future to they may create more opportunities for them .

Sharing views , Mamta said , My family was little apprehensive in the beginning, but now they fully support me and are happy to see me working at frontline. I believe more women should come forward and work at front foot . It becomes an inner happiness whenever I work on the field and help save a life.

Sharing views , Shivani Devi , said , My Parents were extremely happy to see me working . I am really grateful to 108 Ambulance, for giving this Job Opportunity and helping us with all training and support. The best part is that we will be given Salary, which will help us become financially independent. More women who are qualified should come forward .
