Second day of ongoing Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav organized by Pracheen Kala Kendra, marked with mellifluous ghazals by Nidhi Narang
Pracheen Kala Kendra’s ongoing six day event India@75 , Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav being organized at its M. L. Koser Indoor Auditorium and also telecasted live on PKK official social media YouTube and face book pages . Second day of the said event was a treat for ghazal aficionados of the city beautiful. Ambala based celebrated singer Nidhi Narang was the performer of today’s’ evening .
Gold Medalist from Chandigarh, Mrs. Nidhi Narang is a renowned vocalist of Hindustani Classical Vocal, Agra in the Khayal genres. After initial training , Nidhi was later groomed by Eminent Guru & Vocalist Prof. Yashpal. She also got added exposure and bless to have training under Guru Ganesh Prasad ji. With her dedication to music and quality performance, she has won the hearts of music listeners all over India. Besides being a recipient of several awards, she regularly performs from All India Radio and Doordarshan and many other musical concerts.

Endowed with a resonating and soulful voice, Nidhi began her recital with ghazal “kya ye bhi zindgi hai ki” followed by sawan based ghazal “ phir sawan rut ki pawan chali” . After this she chose some famous soulful ghazals like “dhuan utha tha “ , “apki yaad aati rahi” followed by “yun na thi mujhse berukhi “ and “Rudade mohabbat “. Then she doled out with couple of ghazals like “Teri Kasam ka hame” and “mujhse milne ka” amidst thunderous applause. Nidhi provided a befitting finale to her concert with a all time hit ghazals like “aaj jane ki zidd na karo followed by “aye mohabbat tere anjam pe rona aaya” .

The excellent accompaniment on Tabla by Parveen Rathi , Dr. Sudhir Sharma on Harmonium , Rajesh on Sarangi and J.S. Jaggi provided support on guitar. Kendra Registrar Smt. Shobha Koser along with Secretary Sh. Sajal Koser honored the artists with memento and uttriya.
