Today, there was a sit-in demonstration in Chandigarh on behalf of the rising inflation in Sector 19 on behalf of the Chandigarh Congress. Speaking in this protest, Chandigarh Congress President Subhash Chawla said that today petrol, diesel and gas have become out of the reach of common man. He said that if the price of such essential commodities continues to rise, then it will be out of the reach of common man. The country’s Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan says that petrol, diesel should be brought under the purview of GST but for this they cannot do anything, this work belongs to GST COUNCIL. He questioned the Petroleum Minister whether GST COUNCIL is not of the government. Only one ministry cannot run away from the court of public by accusing another. Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Sharma termed this government as the government of the bourgeoisie and said that the Modi government has become a government of the rich only. Congress spokesperson Harmeel Kesari said that after the wrong decision like demonetisation, the people will respond to this pernicious government due to the injury of votes by three times the price of petrol, diesel, gas and water in Chandigarh. Harmeel Kesari said that people have started putting their motorcycles in garbage heaps today. When the price of petrol in the UPA government was $ 144 per barrel in the international market, the price of petrol never exceeded Rs 70 per liter. But today in this BJP government, the price of crude oil is $ 70 per barrel, then the price of petrol is 100 rupees per liter, which is far beyond the reach of common man.
