Valentine's Day should not be celebrated as Martyr's Day: Ravinder Singh Bowed down tribute to the martyrs
Valentine’s Day is being celebrated with great pomp by the youth all over the country. Which is not our civilization and culture. Today is the second anniversary of the martyrdom of 42 soldiers of CRP Ruff in Pulwama attack on 14 February 2019, just two years before today. Therefore, all the countrymen, especially the youth, should celebrate it as Martyr’s Day. That is to say, Ravinder Singh Billa, chairman of Omkar Charitable Trust. Today, with the mutual support of Omkar Charitable Trust and Market Welfare Association Sector 24, a tribute was paid to the true sons of the country and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country’s pride and dignity, not celebrating Valentine’s Day. The members of these institutions paid tribute to the martyrs by burning candles and paid them a true tribute. On this occasion, the little ones were also specially invited and they were told that we all remember the true sons of our country and their Valentine’s Day should be celebrated in remembrance. Valentine’s Day is being celebrated as the Day of Love, so why not love our military brothers.
