Amarjeet Singh wins nomination papers of all Congress candidates including Sidhu
Under the leadership of Punjab’s Health and Family Minister, Balbir Singh Sidhu, all Congress candidates, including Sidhu who won Amarjeet Singh from the 50 wards of the Mohali Municipal Corporation elections, filed their nomination papers on Tuesday. Jeetha Sidhu is contesting from ward number 10. Candidates from ward number 1 to 25 filed nomination at SDM office, Mohali, while candidates from ward number 26 to 50 filed nomination at Mandi board office, Mohali. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Balbir Sidhu said that we will contest the development work done by the Congress government in Mohali in the last four years. Talking about the state government’s work being done in Mohali, Sidhu said that in Phase 3B1, medical colleges and a modern community center will be set up at a cost of Rs 14 crore and Rs 6.38 crore respectively. He said that work has been started to replace the damaged sewer system at a cost of Rs 22 crore. Sidhu further informed that 5 new booster sets will be installed in the city to improve water supply. He said that a cow shed would be set up in Balongi village to prevent the menace of stray animals.
