Mohali Lawn Tennis association announced new team of experts for upliftment of tennis trainees in&around the area
The General House of the Mohali Lawn Tennis Association will be headed by its Chairman Manmohan Kohli, who is the CEO and Managing Partner of Aroma Classic and Aquamarine. Kohli has been a keen tennis player and has a vast management experience that will be helpful for the Sangh.
A lawyer by profession, Prasang Raheja currently plays in the ITF 35 Plus category and is one of the top senior players in India. He has teamed up with former India No. 1 Davis caper Harsh Mankad. He has been appointed as the Treasurer of the Union.
Vivek Atre, noted writer, motivational speaker and former Indian Administrative Service officer, will be the chief patron of the association.
Animesh Sharma, a criminal law expert, has been appointed as member executive, while tennis coach Gaurav Chadha has taken over as the association’s secretary.
Saminder Singh, Pala Ram Sehgal, Dr. Rajesh Gullia, Dr. Pranjal Sharma, Gurpreet Singh, co-founders of the famous real estate firm Reality Master’s Precious will prove to be important to the executive committee of the association.
General HJ Singh (retired) VSM, a paratrooper and a skydiver with over 250 jumps of experience;
ITF 45+ category players Rajiv and lawyer representing India, Sandeep Sharma are other member officers of the association.
“The main objective of our new team is to promote, encourage and work to advance the development of lawn tennis and maintain contact with other associations with similar objectives. Kohli said that players from across the region would be encouraged and trained under a perfect environment to represent their state and nation in various competitions.

“Organizing the tournament is also one of our major goals as it gives players a platform to perform. The enrollment of various schools, institutes, clubs, teams and individuals as members of the Union will be primary for us to further the aims and objectives of the Union.
“We are focused on accepting and receiving subscriptions, fees, donations, grants, and sponsorships from private companies, institutions, companies and the government, using the proceeds to achieve the objectives,” Chadha said. Chadha said.
