EMERALD MARTIAL ARTS SHINES IN INTERNATIONAL ONLINE POOMSAE MEET 2020
Lockdown and COVID could not bring down the spirit of Emerald Martial Arts & its students. Despite being at home the Team represented India on International Platform.
“Lockdown COVID 19 Poomsae Online Taekwondo Championship 2020” was organized by IOFTC – USA. Students of Emerald Martial Arts – Tarushi Gaur, Achintya Gupta, Vivaan Gupta, Daksh Panwar &Lakshay Dhiman along with Coach Master Shiv Raj Gharti participated in this Online Event. These students are regular practitioners of Taekwondo at Emerald Martial Arts.
Master Shiv Raj Gharti (5th Dan Black Belt) said that the championship had participants from many countries like UK, Australia, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka& many more. The championship was judged by high-class referee panel of World Taekwondo – Korea. He also shared that Lakshay Dhiman, Tarushi Gaur &Vivaan Gupta participated under the Black Belt Divisionunder their respective age categories whereas Achintya Gupta & Daksh Panwar participated under the Color Belt Division under respective age Categories. Emerald students scored excellent in the championship.
Emerald students not only showed up a never-dying spirit but also brought laurels for the Country & Team Emerald.
Achintya Gupta grabbed Silver whereas Tarushi Gaur, Vivaan Gupta & Daksh Panwar grabbed Bronze.

Master Shiv Raj Gharti also took an opportunity to thank the Team of IOFTC, USA for organizing this grand event at the time of Pandemic to boost the morale of the entire Taekwondo family.
