Pink brigade of Nari Jagriti Manch raise awareness about coronavirus, distribute free face masks and soaps
Members of Pink Brigade of Nari Jagriti Manch, organised an activity creating awareness among people to avoid coronavirus on the occasion of International Women’s Day at the Plaza located in Sector 17 under the leadership of Neena Tiwari, President of the Manch. 500 Free face masks and 500 soaps were distributed to keep hands clean to keep virus at bay.
The women of the Pink Brigade also took out an awareness march to make the residents aware of the corona virus. They were holding posters related to the prevention of Coronavirus, which included, not going to crowded places, and keeping distance from the person sneezing.
On this occasion, Neena Tiwari, said the forum has always worked for the betterment of society and now when there is coronavirus outbreak the NGO was spreading awareness in the society.
She also thanked all the doctors who are serving the people with full devotion. It is the responsibility of the Nari Jagriti Manch to make people aware and for their safety was also distributing free masks and soaps. She also urged other NGOs of the city that at this time the society needs their help, so they should openly come forward and try to make people aware. Tiwari also added that a lot of scare is being spread through social media but city residents do not need to be misled, adding that they should take utmost care and take all precautions, especially the elderly who are more prone to getting it.
