Students of Oakridge International School excelled in Regional competition “Odyssey of the Mind”
Students of Oakridge International School participated in Regional competition of Odyssey of the Mind held at MayoorSchool, Noida . Odyssey of the Mind event this year saw 100 teams participating from different schools across India. It offered another opportunity for our young students to prove their mettle in creative thinking and problem solving. The competition comprises of two parts which involves long term and spontaneous problem solving.Two teams from oakridge participated in the event and one team won the first place in spontaneous problem solving while the other team won the silver medal in long term problem solving.
While encouraging the students Principal of the School Ramanjit Ghuman Said that the competition saw participants from across the nation & students of Oakridge International School marked their presence through a winning streak. She further informed that It was a creative problem-solving program involving students to work in teams. The students as team members work together to solve a predefined long-term problem and present their solution to the problem in the competition. It includes theatrical performance, construction and design, practical applications of science and much more.
