Blockbuster Thriller ‘Shivalinga’ on Friday, 7th July at 9 PM

It was 1989 when Salman Khan sang Kabootar Ja Ja to express his love in Maine Pyar Kiya and the pigeon became Hindi cinema’s most celebrated carrier of love. But when was the last time you saw them solve murders? Intrigued enough? Depicting a splendid story of a special equation between a CID officer and a pigeon, Zee Cinema, World’s Largest Theatre for Hindi Movies presents the Channel Premiere of ‘Shivalinga’ on Friday, 7^th July at 9 PM.

Directed by P. Vasu, the film stars Shiva Rajkumar and Vedhika in the lead, along with Shakthi Vasudevan. Adapted from the Kannada version of the same name, Shivalinga was declared a super-hit right on the day of its release. Shivalinga is an intriguing tale of a well-known CID officer caught amidst a professional commitment of cracking a murder mystery and also saving his wife’s life.

Shiva (Shiva Rajkumar), a CID officer takes on the responsibility to decode the truth behind the suspicious death of Raheem (Shakthi Vasudevan) who falls off a moving train. While the world disguises it as a suicide, Raheem’s lover claims otherwise. Shiva starts joining the dots and finds his support in Raheem’s pet pigeon who helps with cues. As he inches closer to the case, his wife Satya (Vedhika) gets possessed by Raheem’s spirit. To save his wife’s life, Shiva must now go out of his way to condemn the murderer. But is it all that meets the eye? Is there a truth Shiva doesn’t know of?
