Lighting up lamps to commemorate foundation stone laying of Shri Ram temple
Mahila Sunderkand Sabha anointed Lord Rama by applying tilak with Vedic chants to commemorate the foundation stone laying ceremony of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. 1008 lamps of pure desi ghee were lit up to celebrate the occasion.
The event was organized at Shri Hanumant Dhaam Mandir, sector 40, Chandigarh under the chairmanship of the Sabha president Neena Tewari, following all COVID guidelines of Chandigarh Administration. Ranju Grover, Prem Lata, Pal Sharma, Sudarshan Sharma and Usha Singla were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, the head of the assembly, Neena Tewari told that Shri Ram is the devotee of Lord Shree Hanuman. She said that this is a historic moment in which the foundation stone of Shri Ram temple construction is being celebrated in the whole of India, and every house has to light a lamp to celebrate the occasion.

Tewari congratulated all the social workers and sages associated with the construction of Shri Ram temple. She said that the construction of this temple will strengthen the faith of Hindus.
