Punjab Minister for tourism and cultural affairs and investment promotion Anmol Gagan Mann has said that the government’s top priority is to develop eco-tourism, adventures Activities and tourism in Punjab. The efforts being made by the government in these activities will exemplary results in the future. PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing 17th PITEX 2023, on this occasion Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Anmol Gagan Mann addressing the businessmen of abroad and India. She said that first time in Punjab a government of common people has been formed. She said the Industrialists never got these kind of facilities before.
The Cabinet Minister said that a special plan has been drawn up for the improvement of focal points in Punjab. Under which these focal points are being reconstructed by spending 1150 crore rupees. Under this scheme, industrialists are being given benefit by improving the focal points in Punjab.
She said that due to the pro-industry policies of the Punjab government, many large industrial companies have established their industries in the state so far and capital investment of 60 thousand crores has come to Punjab in just two years.
She said that the overall potential of the tourism sector in Punjab is being developed so that Punjabis living abroad, foreign tourists, people coming from different regions of India can experience the historical and touristic places and heritage aspects of Punjab. May you enjoy abundance. Mann said that PITEX has played an important role in promoting tourism in Punjab and aligning with our vision of investment growth. Such events are truly invaluable platforms for marketing, networking and partnership building that contribute to the economic development of Punjab.
She said that at present the cheapest electricity is being provided to the industries in Punjab and the opportunity to do business which this government has given to the industries has never been seen before. He asked the industrialists to cooperate with the government so that Punjab can be brought back on track.
Speaking on the occasion, Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said that it is a matter of pride for Amritsar that every year a fair is organized here and big businessmen come here to display their products. He said that the PITEX is running well from the 17 years and now it become a big form.
Bollywood artist Jimmy Shergill, who specially arrived on this occasion, said that a huge number of people are participating in the fairs like PITEX. This is a proof that Punjab is now becoming a colorful Punjab while walking on the right way.
On this occasion PHDCCI Deputy Secretary General Naveen Seth said that chamber has been the endeavor to provide a good platform to the industries and businessmen who contribute to the economy of Punjab.

On this occasion D. P. S. Kharbanda C.E.O of Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion said that after the formation of the new government in Punjab, many reputed companies have invested in Punjab, after that not only employment has increased in Punjab, but also industrial companies have also been established. He said that the proposed investment in Punjab is increasing every year.

On this occasion PHDCCI Punjab Chapter Chairman R. S. Sachdeva said that this is the 17th edition of PITEX which is being organized with the support of the Punjab government. It is being continuously expanded with the support of Punjab Government.
