Manjeet sidhu won the title of FASHION ICON at the DIADEM MRS INDIA LEGACY. She won the title among 20 finalists from all over India.

DIADEM Mrs India was a unique pageant which was  conducted for two days in Delhi and the grand finale was at kingdom of dreams .

There was intense grooming sessions talents round where manjeet made best out or waste in a creative way .

There was a photoshoot conducted and there were exercise and fitness rounds.

The whole process began with the selection of finnalist in MARCH in her category manjeet sidhu was the only one selected from chandigarh.

There was a long process where you had to make changes by grooming diet personality and fitness.

Each contestant had to make her file citing the  changes and development

You had to send updates for the social work where manjeet was involved with spreading awareness about

cancer with RANI BREAST CANCER and working to support special children in the ngo Empower for special children.

Diadem started a campaign called Maasik satya where all contestants had to work for menstrual hygiene spread awareness and they had a campaign a fundraiser where they asked contestants to raise funds for this campaign

The judges were Aditi Govitrikar ,Rita Gangwani ,and Mike berry .

Diadem mrs India legacy is a platform where manjeet got to show case her talent as a designer and she won regular compliments for all her clothes and wardrobe designed by her own self

For the grand finale she wore a lengha which looked traditional but it could be removed to a trail with a modern Luigi beneath it .

The judges organisers were impressed with her wide variety of designes both Indian and western and the fact that she designed all the outfits herself .

The contestants would call her Cinderella snowwhite barbie fairy appreciating her style and the sense of dressing and designing

The title of fashion icon is very precious and one of the important titles of the show .

It is further more valuable as Manjeet is a designer with an experience of more than 20 years in this field .She was one of the few leading designers and stylist of the tricity. Though her popularity is as a bridal designer she has a versatile flair of India

western and indo western. She personally has her own style which borders between modern and retro .

She has been exporting her garments to USA CANADA DUBAI SINGAPORE HONKONG AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND.

This title personally as well as professionally will put her mark nationally and internationally as a style icon for all the women to follow.

It is never to late to follow your dreams she is mother of two grown up children and now she got an opportunity to fulfill her long standing wish to participate in the pageant.

She has been invited to participate in a few national and international fashion shows .

And has a further opportunity to participate in an international pageant which she will soon decide which one to join.

This was one of the best experiences in life and gave her opportunity to explore more possibilities in life .

Her major takeaway from the show is that once you decide and set your heart to anything you as an individual have the capability to reach there .

Her advice to each young person is that you must pursue your dreams and carry on till it becomes a reality .

She will focus on making her  brand go higher and work for the benefit of maasik satya , the causes she supports rani breast cancer and empower the ngo for special children

As a mother as a women and an entrepreneur her message to young men and women is strive harder and success will be yours
